2019 Lehigh University Geometry and Topology Conference

The annual Lehigh University Geometry/Topology Conference in 2019 will be held June 20-22, 2019, at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

The conference will start with a first talk at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 20. The last talk will end before noon Saturday, June 22.

Principal Speakers

  • Jacob Bernstein, Johns Hopkins University. Expanders of low entropy
  • Robert Haslhofer, University of Toronto. Ancient low entropy flows and the mean convex neighborhood conjecture
  • Lan-Hsuan Huang, University of Connecticut. Mass rigidity and spacetime symmetry
  • Dan Isaksen, Wayne State University. The stable homotopy groups of spheres in dimensions 60-90
  • Tony Pantev, University of Pennsylvania. Twisted spectral correspondence and torus knots
  • Gabor Szekelyhidi, University of Norte Dame. Gromov-Hausdorff limits of Kaehler manifolds

In addition, there will be parallel sessions of contributed talks. Contributed talks should fit into the traditional topics of this conference series; Differential, Complex, and Algebraic Geometry, Algebraic Topology, and Geometric Topology.

The conference is supported by the Journal of Differential Geometry, Lehigh University, and the NSF. Limited travel support is available, and the priority will be given to recent PhD's, current graduate students and members of underrepresented groups.
